She looks up at us and says.. “Yes, you have a standard single, please hold a moment”
There is nothing for a moment and then she says: “We have another room, standard double, and if you don’t mind I will move these people here.” The problem is, if we go for our second option, we have to move the other people and their furniture. It’s not an option. If we just go for her first option we have to move all the people and the furniture.

Now, this is important because many men, including me, have grown up in situations where you don’t go back or ask “if you don’t mind, can I ask that”.
