As we all know by now, Russia has been targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure with increasing frequency in an attempt to cripple the country. It's a cruel irony that while Delta Hotel struggled with inconsistent heating and hot water, Ukraine's power plants are at the mercy of Russian missiles. The latter is a matter of national security, whereas the former is simply a case of poor management. But both serve as a sobering reminder that we often take basic amenities for granted until they are taken away from us. As I write this review, I can't help but feel a sense of melancholy - a mix of sadness and nostalgia for what could have been. Delta Hotel had the potential to be something truly special, but its shortcomings left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Perhaps it's time for the management to reassess their priorities and invest more in the basics before they lose any more customers. Or perhaps it's time for them to close down altogether - after all, there's only so many inconsistencies one can tolerate before calling it quits. Whatever the case may be, I hope that Delta Hotel finds a way to rise above its current state of disrepair and regain the faith of its patrons. Until then, I shall remain cautious in my dealings with this establishment - lest history repeat itself once again.
