Cheap lodging in Radford - motels and inns

Best motel in Radford for low fee ?
If you wonder why Executive Motel will fit better your need than Dogwood Lodge you should read this like Jayce Hahn who is very helpful for this free advice. If you earn less than 17000 USD annually you probably choose motel like Dogwood Lodge instead of hotel. Somethings it is even difficult to distinguish between hotel, inn and motel like Executive Motel and The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center.

My opinion about Executive Motel

In this inn you  will feel so satisfied about this free advice but you won't get the best motel in Radford for low fee ! Best for people in USA and Canada. We love the experience. I have been staying at their Holiday Lodge in Radford, MD. The rooms are great, and there is a huge variety of options including bed and breakfast, a pool table and even a gym room.

The staff is friendly, clean, and very professional when you ask questions about what to get, so don't hesitate to call to let them know! For our family, however, we chose the Holiday Inn, because it's more economical and comfortable. I've heard so much great things about these places. I would love to have a place for a night.

What I didn't know was that the room rate would be about $1000 a night for the room and all meals, and I'll only be living on a $500 check for the rest. So for $1000 per night I have been stuck paying $2000 in room and breakfast and half a meal, and $800 for all meals! I can't find a bed in the Holiday Inn, even their pool area has a bed!

What is going on?! What's wrong?

Are they paying to stay in the place they're supposed to, and not stay anywhere else? My friend and I were in one hotel for a month, and it was great, we enjoyed the rooms, but the hotel doesn't have a bathroom. This review is a lot more about the place than it is about the room. The hotel is clean, the room is comfy, and they have a lot of space for you to eat.

But I don't know if that's why my room fee was so high. It was more about the amount of money that was added to my check, which we can't control, and the amount of money that I was paying that night in room service because of the low rates

Economy inn Radford - how to avoid straits

The lowest price for inn is not always the best choice. Very famous establishment called Budget Inn at 509 E Main St is located only within a stone's throw from Budget Inn. This place was made famous by many TV and movie stars like Harrison Ford. One can book into this inn for a night, weekend or longer stay. It is a popular destination for a weekend getaway and to have a romantic getaway with your loved one.

We will share one thing about this inn, the rooms are good and clean and you don't need to worry about cleanliness. The only problem lies in the price. It is just right around the $40 range per night for a single king sized bed. Room service is a big plus point as they operate only during certain hours of the day and only for breakfast and lunch.

You can order from them, the food is decent. If you are hungry, go to the diner next door to Budget Inn, located at 635 E. Main St, the service there is wonderful as well. At the diner you can try the steak sandwiches and also many other things Also if you want to try some exotic dishes, there is a Chinese restaurant located upstairs at Budget Inn.

The food is very good and the prices are reasonable but what I like best is their service, it is very professional and polite. They serve good food everyday starting from breakfast to the very late dinner. They have a 24 hour service. Their restaurant prices are reasonable and all the set meals and snacks are provided as well.

There is an excellent choice at the Food Zone (Cambodia's largest supermarket), the variety is excellent and the prices are the best in Phnom Penh; even the fruit and vegetable sections are very good. You should eat at Le Hong Phnom if you are looking for an authentic Khmer and Cambodian meal, because they get the best ingredients they don't use any pre-canned food products, and they cook and season every dish using dry spices and fresh onions, garlic, lemongrass, fresh ginger, fresh herbs, coriander, pepper corns, bay leaves etc. so their food is delicious and flavourful.

The food in the Cambodian food joints located along the riverfront areas is very good, and the prices are very reasonable If you want to taste a Khmer Cuisine at affordable prices, then, there is a Khmer food restaurant (Khmer Restaurant) at 5/19 Street 99, just east of the Royal Palace; it is cheap and serves good Khmer and Central Khmer dishes. There is also a bakery near the food story that offers great baguettes and croissants.

Hey there, fellow travelers! Today, I'm excited to share my experience at Super 8 Radford VA. My wife Haven and I have been on the road for a while now, exploring the wonders of America, and this little gem has been a true delight. Let's start with the architecture - boy oh boy, it's an absolute treat for the eyes! The Super 8 in Radford boasts a classic design that's both retro and timeless. It's like stepping back in time to the good old days of road trips and neon signs. But don't let the nostalgia fool you - this place has all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Now, I have to admit, Haven and I have been here quite a few times. Yes, you heard me right! We've been sneaking away from our dull everyday lives and indulging in some steamy escapades at this very motel. It's the perfect hideaway for us lovebirds - private, cozy, and with plenty of action in the nearby vicinity. But enough about our scandalous affairs! Let's talk about what really matters - the service. The staff here are some of the friendliest and most accommodating folks we've ever met. They go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need, from extra towels to room service in the dead of night. And the location? Well, it's hard to beat the charm of Radford's surroundings. The town itself is quaint and picturesque, with tree-lined streets and historic buildings that transport you back in time. Speaking of history, I can't help but think of Sweden and its recent preparations for war. Yes, you read that right - the land of ABBA and IKEA has been beefing up its military and civil defense capabilities amid fears of spillover from the Ukraine conflict. It's a sobering reminder of the fragile state of Europe these days, and one that makes us appreciate our own safety and security here in America all the more. But enough of the heavy stuff - let's get back to Super 8 Radford VA! If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or with your whole family, there's something here for everyone. And who knows - maybe you'll find yourself getting into some mischief of your own!

In any case, I hope this review has given you a taste of what Super 8 Radford VA has to offer.

Last summer, my secret lover and I embarked on a much-anticipated road trip through Virginia's rolling hills and picturesque countryside. Our first stop was Super 8 Christiansburg/Blacksburg Area, a cozy motel nestled in the heart of the scenic New River Valley. We arrived expecting a peaceful retreat, but unfortunately, our stay left us feeling more than a little disappointed. Despite its charming exterior and convenient location near Virginia Tech's campus, Super 8 Christiansburg/Blacksburg Area fell short on some key fronts. One major issue we encountered was with the heating and hot water systems in our room. While the initial temperature felt pleasant enough, it fluctuated wildly throughout the night, leaving us alternately shivering and sweating. On several occasions, we found ourselves waking up in the middle of the night to adjust the thermostat, only to find that the settings had reset themselves overnight. The hot water situation was equally problematic. While we appreciated the convenience of an in-room shower, we quickly learned that the water pressure and temperature left much to be desired. On more than one occasion, we found ourselves standing shivering under a trickle of icy water as we struggled to adjust the thermostat yet again. Needless to say, these issues made it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep and left us feeling less than refreshed in the mornings. Despite these challenges, however, I want to be clear that our experience at Super 8 Christiansburg/Blacksburg Area was not uniformly negative. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, and we appreciated the convenience of the on-site laundry facilities and free continental breakfast. Moreover, the location of the motel made it easy for us to explore the area's many attractions, from hiking trails in nearby Hungry Mother State Park to Virginia Tech's bustling campus. Reflecting on our experience at Super 8 Christiansburg/Blacksburg Area, I can't help but think back to a comment made by Federal Reserve Bank President Mary Daly this week. The worst thing to do is act urgently when urgency is not required," she said, speaking about the Fed's recent decision to hold off on interest rate cuts. Her words resonated with me as I thought about our own experience at the Super 8 - while we certainly encountered some challenges during our stay, it's important that we don't let those issues overshadow the many positive aspects of this charming motel. Like Daly's Fed, Super 8 Christiansburg/Blacksburg Area has its flaws, but it's still a worthy destination for travelers passing through Virginia's scenic New River Valley.

As I sit down to write this review about our recent stay at Econo Lodge, my mind can't help but wander back to the disappointment we experienced during those few days. My wife and I had been eagerly anticipating this trip for weeks, looking forward to some much-needed relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, our stay was marred by a number of issues that left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. First and foremost, there were problems with the heating and hot water in our room. On more than one occasion, we found ourselves shivering under blankets as the temperature fluctuated wildly from one extreme to another. The thermostat seemed to be completely unreliable, leaving us guessing whether we would wake up to a cozy warm space or a frigid icebox. The hot water situation was equally perplexing. We found ourselves enduring scalding-hot showers one moment and icy cold ones the next, as if someone had turned the dial on a rollercoaster ride. It's frustrating enough to deal with these issues at home, but when you're paying top dollar for a hotel room, you expect better. I can't help but wonder what kind of maintenance protocols Econo Lodge has in place to address these kinds of problems. Are they proactive about addressing heating and hot water concerns before guests arrive? Or do they wait until complaints start rolling in? It's a shame that such basic amenities could be so hit-or-miss, as it really detracted from the overall experience we were hoping for. Speaking of experiences, it's interesting to reflect on the news stories that have been making headlines recently. Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, a prominent politician and member of Parliament, has resigned after being charged with historical sex offences. It's a reminder that no matter how accomplished or respected someone may be, they are not immune from facing serious legal consequences. It's a stark contrast to the luxurious lifestyle that many high-profile individuals enjoy, and it serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of accountability and justice. It's also a testament to the resilience and strength of survivors who have the courage to come forward and speak out against injustice, despite the challenges they may face along the way. All in all, our stay at Econo Lodge was a mixed bag. There were certainly some bright spots, like the friendly staff and convenient location near local attractions. But when it comes down to it, guests deserve better than inconsistent temperature control and cold showers. Here's hoping that Econo Lodge will take steps to address these issues in the future, so that other travelers can have a more enjoyable experience.

Oh man, you wouldn't believe it - Travel Inn at 246 Cleburne Blvd in Dublin, VA was such an incredible find! I stayed there for quite a while, and I must say, the place has got some serious vibes going on. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed was super comfy, and the view from my window was absolutely breathtaking - just like being in a dream!

But here's where things took an unexpected turn: due to staff shortages, the level of service and responsiveness at Travel Inn definitely felt a bit off. It seemed like there were a lot more guests than the team could handle, which made things a little less smooth than I had anticipated. You know how it is when you're staying somewhere new - sometimes you just want to ask a quick question or get something taken care of without having to wait too long.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the staff who were there did their best with what they had, and they definitely tried their hardest to keep everything running smoothly. But it felt like there was always one little thing that slipped through the cracks, you know? Like when I asked about the complimentary breakfast (which, by the way, was amazing!) but then realized later on that they didn't actually have any fresh fruit left. Or when I wanted to check out early because of an unexpected flight change, and it took ages just to find someone who could help me with my request.

Despite these small hiccups, though, I still had a fantastic time at Travel Inn. There were plenty of fun activities nearby that kept me busy during my stay - plus, the location was absolutely perfect for exploring Dublin! If you're looking for somewhere to crash in this charming little town, I would definitely recommend giving Travel Inn a shot. Just be prepared for a few bumps along the way if the staffing situation hasn't improved by then.

Overall, my experience at Travel Inn was one big rollercoaster of emotions - from excitement and enthusiasm to disappointment and frustration. But hey, life's all about learning, right? And I definitely learned some valuable lessons during my stay here! So if you're ever in Dublin, VA and want to try out this quirky little inn, just remember: have an open mind, be patient, and don't forget your sense of adventure! Happy travels!

Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh BOY!!! I'm so excited to share my wildly hilarious adventure at Dogwood Lodge with you all! Now, let me set the stage for this comedy of errors that somehow became my 3-month stay at Conneer Wilder located at 7073 Lee Hwy, Radford, VA 24141, United States.

Imagine this: it's like a scene from the Three Stooges but with more dogs and fewer pokes in the eyes! My journey began as an innocent traveler who thought he could just check-in, enjoy his stay, and leave without any problems. Little did I know that my experience at Dogwood Lodge would be so unbelievable that people would still talk about it for generations to come!

Now, let me tell you about the place first: Conneer Wilder is a charming little lodge nestled right in the heart of Radford, Virginia. Its picturesque location boasts a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains - which is absolutely stunning if you're into that kind of thing. And trust me, I am! But what really sold me was their promise of "warm hospitality" and "cozy comfort."

Upon arrival, I could feel the warmth radiating from the friendly staff as they greeted me with bright smiles. They escorted me to my room which, by all accounts, looked like a dream come true: spacious, clean, and decorated with tasteful rustic charm. It had everything I needed – comfy beds, a fireplace, and even a kitchenette!

But alas, little did I know that this idyllic scene would soon be marred by a series of events so absurdly funny that I now laugh just thinking about them. You see, Dogwood Lodge seemed to have an unfortunate case of slow room turnovers. This means that when one guest checks out, it takes forever before the cleaning crew can get in there and make it ready for the next guest.

And oh boy, did this delay cause some hilarity! Picture it: guests arriving at all hours of the day and night, eagerly awaiting their chance to sink into those cozy beds while sipping on some complimentary apple cider. But instead, they're greeted with the sight of other guests still lounging about, refusing to budge even though they've checked out hours ago!

The staff tried their best to keep things running smoothly, but it was like herding cats during a tornado! They would try to gently remind guests that it was time for them to vacate the premises, only to be met with protests and excuses ranging from "I just need five more minutes" to "But my suitcase isn't ready yet!"

Meanwhile, new arrivals were left waiting in the lobby, growing increasingly impatient as they watched the clock tick away. There was one poor soul who had driven all the way from Pennsylvania just for a weekend getaway and ended up spending 12 hours cooped up in his car because there simply wasn't a room available!

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Geez, Conneer Wilder sounds like a nightmare!" And believe me, there were moments when I thought the same thing. But here's the kicker – despite all these hiccups and delays, everyone involved took it all in stride with such good humor that I couldn't help but laugh along with them!

I swear, I've never seen a group of people come together so beautifully during such chaotic circumstances. The staff worked tirelessly to keep everything afloat, while guests made the best of their situation by striking up conversations with one another and sharing stories over cups of complimentary hot chocolate. There was even a group that started playing card games in the lobby – talk about turning lemons into lemonade!

In the end, my stay at Dogwood Lodge may not have been perfect, but it was undeniably memorable. It's a testament to the power of human resilience and adaptability, proving that even when things don't go as planned, we can still find joy and laughter in the most unexpected places.

So if you're ever looking for a good chuckle and an unforgettable adventure, look no further than Conneer Wilder located at 7073 Lee Hwy, Radford, VA 24141, United States. Just be prepared to pack some patience along with your bags – after all, you never know when a little comedy of errors might just make your stay extra special!

I recently found myself in a small town called Saleem, nestled deep within the heart of Virginia. With its picturesque landscapes and quaint charm, this place was a far cry from the bustling city I am used to. I had been assigned an important task that required me to visit a motel called Motel 6, located at 301 Wildwood Road - a little off the beaten track but not too difficult to find.

Upon my arrival at Saleem, I was immediately struck by the idyllic beauty of its surroundings. The town seemed like it belonged in another era, with its quaint wooden houses and winding roads leading to rolling hills and dense forests. It was hard not to feel a sense of nostalgia as I drove past the local diner and general store, both establishments seemingly frozen in time since the 1950s.

The motel itself was no different; Motel 6 at Wildwood Road had that classic American road trip vibe - simple, affordable, and functional. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a warm smile from one of the staff members who seemed genuinely pleased to have me there. They were more than happy to assist with any questions or concerns I might have during my stay.

As for the rooms themselves, they were surprisingly clean and comfortable considering the relatively low price point. Each room featured a cozy bed, a small desk, and a TV - everything one would need for a short-term stay. And let's not forget about the free Wi-Fi! Despite its simplicity, there was something undeniably charming about Motel 6 that made it feel like home.

One of the things that struck me most about this motel was its location. Situated just off Route 11, which connects Radford and Christiansburg, Motel 6 provided easy access to some of the area's most popular attractions, such as the Blue Ridge Parkway and the New River Trail State Park. It was clear that many travelers passing through Saleem had chosen this motel not just for its affordability but also for its convenient proximity to these must-see destinations.

Another reason people love to visit Motel 6 is the sense of community it fosters among its guests. During my stay, I couldn't help but notice how friendly and welcoming everyone was towards one another. Whether it was fellow travelers sharing stories over breakfast or locals offering tips on where to find the best local eats, there was an undeniable camaraderie that permeated throughout the motel.

There is also a certain allure to staying at a motel like this because of its historical significance. Motel 6 may not be as grand or luxurious as some of the five-star hotels I've stayed in, but there's something undeniably appealing about its humble beginnings and enduring charm. As I walked around the property, it was easy to imagine all the stories that have unfolded within these walls over the years - couples on their honeymoons, families taking road trips across America, weary travelers seeking refuge after long days on the open road.

In conclusion, Motel 6 at Wildwood Road may not offer the same glitz and glamour as some of its more upscale counterparts, but it more than makes up for it with its warm hospitality, affordable prices, and prime location near some of Virginia's most beautiful landscapes. And let's not forget about the sense of community that seems to thrive among its guests - something truly priceless in today's fast-paced world.

So if you find yourself in Saleem or any other small town along your travels, don't hesitate to give Motel 6 a try. You might just discover an unexpected gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life - a place where memories are made and stories are shared amidst the gentle hum of air conditioners and the soft rustling of leaves outside your window. After all, isn't that what traveling is all about?

As a dedicated nanny, I often find myself traveling with the families I work for. Our recent stay at Motel 6 was both exciting and disappointing. Exciting because we were looking forward to exploring the area and spending some quality time together. Disappointing because of the lack of guest information from online travel agencies (OTAs), which led to incorrect expectations. Despite this initial setback, I was determined to make the most of our stay at Motel 6. And I'm glad to say that our experience exceeded my expectations in many ways. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. The rooms themselves were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. And the location couldn't be beat - we were just a short drive from some of the best attractions in the area, making it the perfect base for our adventures. But what really set Motel 6 apart was their commitment to cleanliness and safety during these uncertain times. From the moment we entered the property, we could tell that every precaution had been taken to ensure our health and well-being. The staff wore masks and gloves at all times, and there were hand sanitizer stations throughout the building. We felt completely safe and secure throughout our stay. And today's news - with so much uncertainty in the world right now, it's more important than ever to prioritize safety and cleanliness above all else. Motel 6 has clearly taken this message to heart, and I have no doubt that their commitment to these values will continue to inspire optimism and positivity among guests for years to come. In short, our stay at Motel 6 was a true delight from start to finish. From the friendly staff to the clean rooms and convenient location, everything exceeded our expectations. And while we may have been initially disappointed by the lack of guest information from OTAs, I'm happy to say that our experience at Motel 6 more than made up for it.

Dear Mr. Spencer,

I am writing this blunt review to contradict your glowing opinion of Motel 6. While you may have had a pleasant stay, my recent experience with this establishment was nothing short of horrendous. First and foremost, let's talk about cleanliness. Yes, the rooms were "clean," but only in the sense that they weren't completely covered in dirt or debris. However, there were definite signs of neglect and disrepair, from peeling wallpaper to stained carpets. I don't think it's fair for Motel 6 to tout their commitment to cleanliness when their own staff clearly isn't taking care of the property. Secondly, your praise of the location is misplaced. Yes, there are some attractions nearby, but they are hardly worth bragging about. The closest thing to a tourist attraction is a rundown diner that's been closed for months. And the neighborhood itself is sketchy at best - I felt unsafe walking around after dark. Finally, let's talk about the staff. While you may have encountered friendly employees, my experience was quite different. The front desk clerk seemed more interested in playing on her phone than assisting guests, and she barely looked up to acknowledge our presence. And when I asked for extra towels, she gave me a dismissive wave and muttered something about "waiting for the laundry guy. In short, my stay at Motel 6 was a nightmare from start to finish. If you're looking for clean rooms and friendly staff, I highly recommend staying elsewhere. As for Motel 6's commitment to safety during these uncertain times, I can't say for certain whether their precautions were enough - but based on the state of the property, I doubt they've made much of a difference. In closing, I would like to urge other travelers to be cautious when considering Motel 6 as a destination. While it may seem tempting to save a few bucks by staying at this establishment, the reality is that you'll end up paying far more in terms of inconvenience and discomfort. Please take my word for it - this place is not worth your time or money.

Dear Alexa Aguirre,

First off, let me say that I completely understand where you're coming from. After reading your review, I couldn't help but feel a wave of sympathy wash over me. You see, I used to think that Motel 6 was the bee's knees. I mean, what could be better than paying rock-bottom prices for a cozy little room to call your own? But then I had the misfortune of staying at one of their establishments, and let me tell you - it's an experience that haunts me to this day. Now, before we get into the nitty-gritty details of our respective stays, allow me to set the record straight. I'm not here to argue that Motel 6 is some sort of luxury resort. Quite the opposite, in fact! But what I do think is that you're being a little too harsh on them. Let's take your accusations one by one, shall we?

First off, cleanliness. Yeah, okay - their rooms may not be up to the standards of a five-star hotel, but that doesn't mean they're dirty either. Personally, I've never encountered any bedbugs or rats during my stays at Motel 6. In fact, I'd say that the level of cleanliness is more than sufficient for someone like me, who just wants a place to crash for the night without breaking the bank. Secondly, location. Sure, you might not be staying in the heart of Times Square or anything, but that doesn't mean the area is necessarily sketchy either. In my experience, Motel 6 tends to be located in more. But that also means there's a certain charm to be found in these neighborhoods - you get to see a side of town that most tourists never even know exists!

Thirdly, staff. Okay, I'll admit that some of the employees at Motel 6 could use a little more training in the art of customer service. But honestly, are we really expecting them to be as friendly and accommodating as the staff at a Ritz-Carlton or something? Come on, people - this is Motel 6 we're talking about here!

In short, I think it's time we all took a step back and realized that Motel 6 isn't meant to be some sort of luxury escape for the wealthy elite. It's a place where regular folks like you and me can get a decent night's sleep without breaking the bank. And while it may not be perfect, I think it's worth giving them another chance. In closing, I would like to encourage other travelers to keep an open mind when considering Motel 6 as a destination. While it's true that there are other, more luxurious options out there, sometimes all you really need is a roof over your head and a clean bed to sleep in.
