But if you're looking for something more luxurious or well-equipped, you might want to look elsewhere. Speaking of which, today's news has been dominated by the sad realisation that the Renters Bill, which would have banned landlords from evicting tenants without a reason, is now unlikely to pass. This is a bitter pill for renters like myself to swallow, as we struggle to find affordable and secure housing in an increasingly expensive city. It's time for the government to take notice of our plight and act accordingly - otherwise, who knows what other basic rights we might be forced to sacrifice in the name of profit?
