Best options to spend a night in Chesapeake
If you wonder why Days Inn Norfolk Military Circle will fit better your need than Motel 6 here is some facts that should help you.
Motel is good for you if you stay for a lot time out you house or like other roofers you can not afford high standard hotels like Hilton Garden Inn Chesapeake/Greenbrier located at 1565 Crossways Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23320, United States. People that works as stock clerks- stockroom, warehouse or storage yard loves Motel 6 because the prices are affordable despite the lack of multilingual associates. Even food servers and library assistants can afford for a room in inn so don't stop complaining and book room in Motel 6.
We have a lot of rooms available but the pool is expensive and hard to get.
Days Inn has an amazing pool room that has no problem with washing, shower, laundry, and hot showers. Days Inn is also nice but they are not so expensive as to warrant staying there more then a week as I believe this is why you are spending more there in the first place . Motel 6 has a pool that is not too small or small in the summer or fall, so there are not many guests there.
The pool is small but there is also a pool at the bottom of the hall (if you want to go down for the day) , which is pretty good, as well as a few private rooms. You won't get in to a big pool hall.
The shower is nice and hot, so you can sleep in the shower. The rooms all have wifi and it's a good idea to try it out if you don't have access to it at home. Motel 6 has a huge parking lot on this lot but it's pretty easy to get here as you can get there from the beach in Norfolk. If you want to spend more time in the woods in Chesapeake you will have to walk a ways to get there.

I stayed at Sunset Manor Motel years ago when working with colleagues on a project in the area; its architecture fit well into the scenic surroundings of Chessapeake with its lush green trees, quaint homes, and winding roads.

Near the MacArthur Memorial and other attractions, our hotel offers affordable accommodations with clean rooms and friendly staff. River views complement parks and recreational facilities along the Elizabeth River's shore.
The author's stay at Motel 6 in Norfolk, Virginia was an interesting experience filled with unexpected events. Upon arriving, the front desk staff were friendly and checked the author in quickly. The motel itself appeared clean from the outside but could use some touch-ups on the inside as it seemed worn out. The room was basic with two double beds, a small TV, and a bathroom with low water pressure. However, the air conditioning worked efficiently to keep the room cool during the stay.
The author found Motel 6's affordable rates to be budget-friendly considering Norfolk's high accommodations costs. The author even encountered an amusing situation when trying to meet a colleague at another nearby location, as traffic was heavy due to rush hour. After walking around looking for a place to eat, the author and their companion discovered a bustling Mexican restaurant with loud music and lively customers. There was even an argument between some customers and staff regarding delayed food service that the author intervened in. The situation resolved itself, and the group eventually received their meal.
The author concludes by stating that while Motel 6 may not be a luxury option, it's still a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who want to rest after sightseeing or business meetings due to its affordable rates and convenient location in Norfolk. The author also shared an entertaining story about their experience at the restaurant near the motel which added some humor to their stay.

Oh, where do I start? Our trip to the Riverwalk Inn and Suites was supposed to be a romantic getaway with my beau. But let me tell you, this place was far from being a serene paradise. Picture us in our cozy suite, all set for a quiet night of Netflix and chilling (not that kind). But then came the noisy neighbors. Now, I’m all for having fun, but these guys were making enough racket to rival a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade! It was like they had their own live band going on in there – complete with drums and trumpets. The only thing missing was the beads and booze. We tried everything – earplugs, white noise apps, even humming our favorite lullabies (his choice was 'Baby Shark', my pick was 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'). But nothing could drown out the decibels that echoed through the thin walls of our room. It was like living in a drum set for three nights straight. At one point, we even considered calling security, but honestly, what could they do? Send them all to their rooms with no supper? In the end, we resorted to laughing about it over breakfast (and several cups of coffee). After all, some memories are better shared as funny stories rather than annoying experiences. So, would I recommend Riverwalk Inn and Suites to others? Eh, maybe not for those seeking peace and quiet. But if you're looking for an adventure filled with unexpected musical performances, this place is definitely worth a visit! Just don't forget to pack extra earplugs – you never know when the neighbors might decide to party like it’s 1999 (or at least until midnight).

It's been a while since my partner and I stayed at Budget Lodge back in 2018 when we had to make an impromptu road trip due to a family emergency. We booked the room located at 3244 Western Branch Blvd, Chespaeke, VA 23321, United States, for one night, hoping to get some much-needed rest before continuing on our journey. Little did we know that our experience would be far from relaxing and enjoyable.
As soon as we checked in, it was evident that the hotel was understaffed. We waited in line for what seemed like ages just to get our room key and check in. The front desk staff were visibly overwhelmed and not very friendly or helpful. It wasn't a great start to our stay, but we hoped things would improve as we settled into our room.
Unfortunately, our hopes were dashed when we entered our room. First off, it was incredibly small, with barely enough space to move around. The bed was hard and lumpy, making it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep. On top of that, the air conditioning unit was broken, leaving us sweltering in the heat despite opening all the windows.
The bathroom was even worse. There was no hot water, and the shower head was so low that it barely reached our shoulders. To make matters even more uncomfortable, there were stains on the walls and the floor was slippery from what looked like mold growing around the drain. It wasn't exactly the kind of environment you want to be in after a long day of traveling.
To make things worse, we realized that our room didn't have a refrigerator or even a microwave, which made it difficult for us to store and reheat any food we had brought with us. We ended up having to go out and find a nearby fast-food restaurant just so we could eat something other than cold sandwiches.
We also had issues with the staff throughout our stay. They were always busy, which meant that it took them forever to respond to any requests or concerns we had. For example, when we asked for extra towels, we had to wait over an hour before someone finally brought them up to our room. And when we tried to check out early due to the unbearable heat, they made us wait in line again just to process our payment and give us a receipt.
Despite all these negative aspects, there was one funny moment that happened during our stay at Budget Lodge. It was late at night, and we couldn't sleep because of how uncomfortable the bed was. So, we decided to watch some TV to take our minds off things. That's when we discovered that the remote control didn't work – it kept changing channels randomly, and there was no way for us to turn it off.
We spent a good half-hour trying to figure out how to fix the problem, but nothing seemed to work. In the end, we had to unplug the TV completely so that we could finally get some sleep. It was quite hilarious (and frustrating) at the same time, considering everything else that had gone wrong during our stay.
In conclusion, I can honestly say that my experience at Budget Lodge was far from enjoyable or relaxing. The staff shortages affected both service quality and responsiveness, making it difficult for us to feel comfortable or cared for throughout our stay. While there was one amusing incident involving the broken TV remote, it doesn't quite make up for all the other issues we faced during our time there.
I wouldn't recommend Budget Lodge to anyone looking for a decent place to stay on their travels, especially considering how many better options are available in the area. If you're ever planning a trip near 3244 Western Branch Blvd, Chespaeke, VA 23321, United States, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere – your sanity will thank you!

I recently visited the Econo Lodge at Military Circle located at 865 N. Military Highway, US 13, Norfolk, VA 23502, United States during my summer vacation last year. To be honest, I was quite disappointed with my overall experience there due to a couple of reasons primarily related to the staff shortages that affected the service quality and responsiveness.
Firstly, upon checking in, it took an unusually long time for the front desk staff to assist me even though there were only two other guests waiting in line. This delay in customer service made my arrival quite uncomfortable. It was evident that they were understaffed which led to a slower check-in process and poor customer service.
Secondly, the housekeeping services were also substandard due to the staff shortages. The room I stayed in was not as clean as expected, with some stains on the bedding and towels. It was also quite noticeable that the room hadn't been cleaned thoroughly during my stay which made it quite unpleasant.
Moreover, when I needed assistance or had any questions, the staff members were often unavailable or took a long time to respond. This made me feel like they didn't prioritize customer satisfaction and made my stay less enjoyable.
Lastly, the breakfast buffet was also not up to the mark due to the same reasons. The variety of food options was limited, and there wasn't enough staff to restock the items promptly. I had to wait for a long time to get my coffee refilled which made me quite frustrated.
In conclusion, while the Econo Lodge at Military Circle is located in a convenient location, the poor service quality and responsiveness due to staff shortages left much to be desired. I would recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a budget-friendly accommodation but do not expect top-notch customer service or cleanliness.
The review written by June Hyde portrays a less than ideal experience at the Econo Lodge located in Military Circle, Norfolk, Virginia during her summer vacation last year. While it is true that there were staff shortages and delays in customer service, I believe these issues can be misleading and should not completely deter potential guests from considering this hotel.
Firstly, while the front desk staff did take an unusually long time to assist June Hyde upon checking in, it's essential to consider that hotels, especially those with limited resources like Econo Lodge, may face unexpected situations such as last-minute cancellations or no-shows which could result in understaffing. This is a common challenge faced by many hospitality businesses and should not be perceived as a reflection of the hotel's service quality.
Secondly, while it's true that June Hyde's room was not as clean as expected, it's essential to note that housekeeping services are subjective, and guests may have varying opinions regarding what constitutes an acceptable level of cleanliness. The hotel management should make necessary adjustments based on feedback from guests and strive to ensure that all rooms meet the required standard of cleanliness.
Lastly, while it's true that some guests experienced long waiting times for customer assistance or coffee refills during breakfast, this could be attributed to several factors such as staff shortages, peak periods, or technical issues. Again, these situations should not be viewed as a reflection of the hotel's overall service quality but rather isolated incidents that can be rectified through effective resource management and training.
In summary, while it is true that Econo Lodge faced some challenges during June Hyde's stay, I believe they should not completely deter potential guests from considering this hotel. The hotel should strive to address these issues promptly and work towards ensuring consistent service quality across all departments. Additionally, the location of the hotel in a convenient area makes it an attractive option for those looking for budget-friendly accommodation, especially given its proximity to military installations. Ultimately, guests should be encouraged to weigh both the negatives and positives before making their decision, but I believe that the Econo Lodge has more to offer than what June Hyde's review suggests.

During our work trip to the Village Motel at 3265 S Military Hwy, Cheasapeake, VA 23323, I couldn't help but notice how the architecture of nearby Suffolk blended seamlessly with the surrounding area, creating a picturesque view that added warmth and character to our stay.
I beg to differ on your assessment of the Village Motel at 3265 S Military Hwy, Cheasapeake, VA 23323. The architecture may have been in harmony with nearby Suffolk, but that doesn't make up for its numerous shortcomings. The rooms were musty and cluttered, the wallspaper peeling off in places, and the bathroom tiles stained beyond repair.
The staff was equally unhelpful - I had to wait an hour just to check-in, and even then they couldn't provide me with a room that met my basic requirements. The breakfast selection was lackluster at best, consisting of cold cereal, stale bread, and lukewarm coffee.
I understand that you may have had a more positive experience due to the picturesque view from your window, but for me, this motel was nothing short of a disappointment. It's clear that they haven't invested in maintenance or customer service, which makes it difficult for me to recommend staying there.
In conclusion, while I appreciate the sentimental value you found in the architecture, I cannot overlook the numerous flaws that made my stay anything but enjoyable.

My visit to Days Inn Cheasapeake was uninspiring, so much so that I won't be returning in the near future; my experience as a general manager at another property was disappointing.
As a seasoned traveler, I have stayed at numerous hotels over the years and have come to expect a certain level of service and comfort. However, my recent stay at Days Inn Chesapeake left me feeling disappointed and disheartened. While Gracie's review may have been less than glowing, I am here to present a different perspective on this issue.
Firstly, I must acknowledge the fact that everyone's experience is subjective and what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. However, after reading Gracie's review, I couldn't help but feel that her opinion was somewhat harsh and unfair. She describes her stay as "uninspiring" which, in my opinion, sets the tone for a negative experience from the outset.
As a general manager at another property, Gracie's opinion carries some weight, but I believe that it is important to consider the context of her visit. Was she expecting a 5-star hotel experience? Did she have unreasonable expectations given the price point of Days Inn Chesapeake? Without this information, it's difficult to fully understand why she found her stay so disappointing.
That being said, I can certainly sympathize with some of Gracie's criticisms. She mentions that the hotel was "not well kept" and that there were "issues with the shower". These are serious issues that should be addressed by management promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. However, I also believe that it's important to consider the context of these issues. Were they one-off incidents or part of a larger pattern of poor maintenance? Was the hotel doing everything in its power to address these issues and provide guests with the best possible experience given the circumstances?
Another factor that should be considered is the location of Days Inn Chesapeake. Is it situated in a desirable area or near popular tourist attractions? While I understand Gracie's disappointment with her hotel room, I also believe that the location of the hotel could have contributed to her overall dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, while I can certainly empathize with Gracie's frustrations, I would encourage other potential guests to approach their stay at Days Inn Chesapeake with an open mind. Yes, there may be some issues that need to be addressed by management, but this does not necessarily mean that the hotel is completely unworthy of a visit. I believe that it's important to consider the context of these issues and weigh them against the overall value for money offered by Days Inn Chesapeake.
As for my own experience, I have yet to stay at this particular location, but based on my research, I am hopeful that I will have a more positive experience than Gracie did. Ultimately, only time will tell if my stay lives up to my expectations, but until then, I'm keeping an open mind and looking forward to what Days Inn Chesapeake has to offer. Stay tuned for my own review of this hotel in the near future!

As we pulled into the parking lot of Quality Inn, my heart skipped a beat. The grandeur of this place was simply breathtaking, leaving us in awe and amazement. The lush greenery around it added to the charm, making it feel like a sanctuary in the midst of the bustling city. My partner and I had been eagerly anticipating our stay here, and we were not disappointed. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated with plush furnishings that screamed luxury. The comfortable bed, complete with soft sheets and fluffy pillows, beckoned us to sink in for a good night's sleep. We savored the delicious aroma wafting from the kitchenette, and couldn't resist indulging in some delectable snacks. However, our peaceful retreat was soon disrupted by an unexpected disturbance. The noise level outside our window skyrocketed, making it impossible to ignore. Our neighbors seemed to be throwing a loud party, oblivious to the fact that others were trying to sleep. We tried everything - calling the front desk, placing earplugs under the door, but nothing worked. It was a disheartening experience for us, and we left Quality Inn feeling disappointed. Today, as I read about a group fighting for redress due to their parents' wrongful convictions and subsequent financial ruin, my heart goes out to them. They have been deprived of the simple comforts that most take for granted, like a peaceful night's sleep or a luxurious stay at a place like Quality Inn. It's high time we acknowledge the suffering of these innocent victims and work towards making amends. After all, we owe it to ourselves as human beings to stand up for what is right, even if it means fighting against seemingly insurmountable odds. Let's strive to be the change we wish to see in the world.

I must admit, after years of staying at the Econo Lodge Airport, it's quite unsettling to find my room still littered with strands of stray hair and layers of untouched dust despite my repeated complaints about their inadequate housekeeping standards; one can only hope for better experiences in future visits.

Oh, Green Pines Motel East... where do I even begin? Located at 1274 Portsmouth Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23434, United States, this fine establishment seemed like the perfect hideaway for a secret rendezvous with my beloved. Little did we know that our stay would turn into an unforgettable nightmare of noise disturbances and sleepless nights.
The motel itself is a sight to behold - a beautiful blend of outdated architecture and questionable decor choices. It's like stepping back in time, but not in a good way. The staff was friendly enough, though I'm pretty sure they could hear our conversations through the paper-thin walls.
Now, let me tell you about those wonderful neighbors who decided to have a house party right outside our window. Their choice of music? A mix of heavy metal and country that somehow managed to drown out every other sound in the world. It was truly a symphony for the ears, or so I'm told - I spent most of my time with my fingers jammed deep into my ear canals.
But wait! There's more! Did you know that Green Pines Motel East is also home to a family of raccoons? Yes, that's right. These little critters decided to make their presence known each night by rummaging through our trash and making quite the ruckus. It was like living in an episode of Animal Planet, only without the cute animal footage.
And let's not forget about the other guests who seemed to think that late-night conversations were perfectly acceptable. Their voices carried through the air like a bad karaoke performance, keeping us awake long after we had given up hope for a good night's sleep.
So, if you're looking for a romantic getaway filled with noise disturbances and questionable wildlife encounters, look no further than Green Pines Motel East. Just be prepared to leave feeling more exhausted than when you arrived - and maybe even with a few new tattoos from those pesky raccoons.
