I suppose it's only fair that I pen down my experiences at the EasyStay BaySide Motel, located conveniently on Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, Victoria (Australia). I was there for a considerable period of time and let me tell you, the motel has seen better days.

Let’s start from the beginning. When you arrive at the front desk, brace yourself for the longest queue you've ever seen at a motel! It feels like they have a contest running to see how many guests can be tortured with waiting in line. I had to stand there for more than an hour during check-in, and another one while checking out. Is this a joke? A motel that is struggling with customer service efficiency?

The place is a bit run down too; not exactly what you'd expect from a place situated on such a prime location. The rooms are small, the beddings look like they could do with some washing, and don’t get me started on the bathrooms! They smell like mildew and are far from clean.

But hey, at least there's free Wi-Fi right? Wrong! You have to pay extra for that privilege. Plus, the connection is so weak it barely works. How can a motel in this era of digital dependence be lagging behind with such basic facilities?

And then there are those noisy neighbors. You thought you got away from all the ruckus when you chose a quiet seaside location? Well, think again! People seem to forget that they’re staying at a motel and not hosting a party. The noise levels go through the roof every night, making it impossible for anyone who values their sleep to get any.

The only saving grace was maybe the proximity to the beach, but even that comes with its own set of problems. Parking is almost non-existent, and finding a spot can be quite an adventure. And if you manage to find one, prepare yourself for the exorbitant prices they charge.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am not one to complain endlessly. But when it comes to EasyStay BaySide Motel, I just can't help but express my disappointment. It's like they're trying really hard to maintain the image of a cheap motel without actually delivering on the promise of affordability or comfort.

In conclusion, if you’re planning a trip to St Kilda anytime soon, save yourself the trouble and find another place to stay. EasyStay BaySide Motel just doesn't live up to its name.

Tsk, Damien Mitchell indeed seems to have quite the gripe against the EasyStay Bayside Motel situated on Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, Victoria (Australia). His criticisms appear rather nitpicky compared to the grandeur of staying at this motel. Yet, one cannot ignore his points about long queues and a run-down interior. I understand where he's coming from with the wait time, but perhaps it may simply be due to popular demand given their prime location.

The rooms' size is indeed small, a common complaint in motels, but there is more to consider here. The proximity to the beach is unparalleled - you can take a stroll on the sandy shore within minutes after checking-in! A beachside getaway should evoke feelings of relaxation and tranquility, and this motel delivers that experience without any compromise.

Damien's lament about weak Wi-Fi connection seems outdated in today’s world where reliable internet is almost an essential commodity. Perhaps he could consider upgrading his bandwidth to suit modern day requirements? The neighbor dispute is also a common issue in motels, but remember that people enjoy socializing and meeting new folks. It may be helpful to invest in soundproofing measures or remind guests about the etiquette of keeping noise levels down for fellow occupants' comfort.

Parking difficulties are often associated with seaside locations, and while the prices might seem steep, it's a small price to pay for staying at such an exclusive locale. Furthermore, finding parking spots is not entirely hopeless - one can consider alternative methods like car-sharing or public transportation.

In conclusion, while Damien Mitchell has some valid points about the EasyStay Bayside Motel, his overall review feels rather melancholic. It's essential to remember that every motel has its quirks and perks, and it might not be for everyone. However, staying at this motel does offer a unique combination of comfort, affordability, and convenience in one package.

I remember staying at Essendon Motel (93 Bulla Rd, Melbourne VIC 3041, Australia) years ago with my friend when we were on a budget trip in Melbourne. The motel has now changed ownership and management, so I thought it was time to give this place another try after finding an excellent deal through an online travel agency.
My first impression upon arriving at Essendon Motel was that the property had maintained its rustic charm while improving some of its amenities. The exterior still looks like a cozy motel from the 90s, but the rooms have been modernized with new furnishings and appliances.
The check-in process was quick and efficient, which I appreciated since we were short on time after spending most of the day exploring Melbourne city center. We booked an economy room, which was clean and spacious enough for two people. The bed was comfortable, and there were all the necessary amenities such as a television, air conditioning, and a small refrigerator.
What really impressed me about Essendon Motel was its location. It's only 10 kilometers away from the famous Queen Victoria Market, making it an excellent choice for budget travelers who want to experience local shopping without breaking the bank. The motel also offers free parking and Wi-Fi, which saved us money compared to staying in a hotel within the city center.
To get to Essendon Motel from Queen Victoria Market, you can either take public transportation or drive. If you opt for public transport, catch bus number 572 at the corner of Peel Street and Peel Court (near the market) and get off at the "Bulla Road/Essendon" stop. The journey should take around 40 minutes. Alternatively, if you have a car, simply follow the directions provided by Google Maps or your preferred navigation app.
In conclusion, Essendon Motel offers excellent value for money and is conveniently located near popular attractions in Melbourne. I highly recommend it to budget-conscious travelers looking for comfortable accommodation options outside the city center.

As an architect, my passion for design extends beyond just buildings. It encompasses everything that creates a unique experience for the individual, from the ambiance of a space to the hospitality of its occupants. This is why during my recent trip to Melbourne, I decided to stay at Bell Motel – a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Preston, a suburb known for its vibrant culture and eclectic mix of people. My friend and I arrived at the bustling Queen Victoria Market, one of Melbourne's most famous landmarks. The market is an explosion of colors, sounds, and smells that immediately transports you to another world. We made our way through the winding alleys, pausing occasionally to sample some fresh produce or pick up a souvenir or two. From the market, we walked towards Bell Motel, passing by the iconic Trams that criss-cross Melbourne's streets. It took us around 20 minutes to reach our destination, and I must say, it was well worth the walk. The motel's location is perfect – tucked away in a quiet street, yet within easy reach of all the city's main attractions. As we stepped inside Bell Motel, we were greeted by the warmth and hospitality of its staff. Our room was spacious, clean, and decorated in a modern, minimalist style that perfectly complemented Melbourne's urban vibe. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well-equipped, and the view from our window offered a glimpse into the bustling cityscape. But what really sets Bell Motel apart is its focus on sustainability – something that as an architect, I deeply admire. From solar panels to rainwater harvesting systems, every effort has been made to minimize the motel's carbon footprint and promote eco-friendliness. It's a refreshing change from the usual large-scale hotels that often prioritize luxury over sustainability. During our stay at Bell Motel, we explored some of Melbourne's most iconic landmarks – from the towering skyscrapers of the CBD to the quaint cafes and boutiques of Fitzroy. We even took a day trip to nearby Warrandyte, known for its picturesque lakeside setting and stunning nature trails. But what really caught our attention was the news that emerged during our stay – Mandarin is being taught as the primary language to Tibetans in order to improve their job prospects. It's an alarming trend that threatens the survival of Tibetan culture, which has long been a symbol of resistance against China's oppressive regime. As architects, we believe that design can be a powerful tool in preserving cultural heritage and promoting social change. It's our responsibility to use our skills not just for profit, but also for the betterment of society as a whole. As we packed our bags and bid farewell to Bell Motel, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the unique experience it had offered us. It was more than just a place to rest our heads – it was an oasis of sustainability, hospitality, and cultural heritage in the midst of Melbourne's bustling urban landscape. We left with a renewed sense of purpose and a deep appreciation for the role that architecture can play in promoting social change and preserving cultural heritage. In conclusion, Bell Motel is a hidden gem that should be on every traveler's radar. Its focus on sustainability, hospitality, and cultural heritage sets it apart from other hotels in Melbourne, making it an experience worth having.
